Why Rio in September
Cariocas say that when God made the world, He devoted a whole day to Rio. Granite mountains falling into the sea, Atlantic rainforest inside the city, beaches where every social class lives side by side and a permanent soundtrack. No first trip to Brazil is complete without it. September is the end of the dry season: sunny 26 °C days, without the humidity of summer and without the crowds or prices of Carnival and New Year. What changes a trip to Rio is not what you see, but how. We work with access conventional tourism doesn't have: Christ the Redeemer exclusively at sunrise, with a private breakfast at its feet before 8 a.m.; a train just for your family up the Corcovado; a private cable-car cabin to Sugarloaf to be the first ones there; or Santa Teresa's historic tram reserved for your family.

Three nights for a first visit, up to seven if you love cities. Choose Ipanema or Leblon to have the beach at your doorstep, and book the sunrise experiences for day two, when jet lag wakes you early anyway. With kids, the Botanical Garden, Parque Lage and a beach football or surf lesson in Ipanema always work. And a helicopter day trip to Paraty or Búzios turns one stay into two trips in one.
