Why Brazil in September
Brazil is too big for a single trip and too good to reduce to one list. This month we explore it in six pieces: two complementary cities (São Paulo, the cultural and culinary capital, and Rio de Janeiro, the most beautiful city in the world), three very different coastlines (colonial Paraty bay, bohemian Trancoso and the cliffs of Pipa) and the continent's greatest natural spectacle, Iguazú. September is the perfect time: the end of the southern winter, clear skies and a quiet country before the high season.
