Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix — Monza
The Temple of Speed. Formula 1's fastest and most historic circuit at Autodromo Nazionale di Monza — the tifosi, the slipstreams, and the passion of Italian motorsport.
The Formula 1 Pirelli Gran Premio d'Italia takes place 4–6 September 2026 at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza — the fastest circuit on the F1 calendar, known as the Temple of Speed. First held in 1950, Monza is one of the original circuits on the World Championship calendar.
Monza is unlike any other F1 circuit. The ultra-low-downforce configuration means cars reach speeds exceeding 360km/h on the long straights. Slipstreaming and wheel-to-wheel racing create a spectacle that has produced some of the most dramatic moments in the sport's history.
The tifosi — Ferrari's passionate Italian fans, who pack the grandstands in red — create an atmosphere of unparalleled intensity. The Parabolica, the Lesmo curves, and the famous banking of the old Autodrome combine history with spectacle in ways no other circuit can match.
Milan, just 15 kilometres away, provides a magnificent base — fashion, design, cuisine, the Duomo, the Brera district, and some of Italy's finest restaurants.
Why It's Worth the Journey
Monza is the most passionate circuit on the F1 calendar — Ferrari's home race, the fastest track in the world, and the tifosi in their element. Add Milan and the Italian lakes, and this becomes one of the most satisfying Grand Prix weekends of the season.
Ideal for
